Verisnap Terms of Service
Welcome to Verisnap. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Verisnap mobile application, website, APIs, and related services (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Verisnap, LLC ("Verisnap," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you represent that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian.
2. Description of the Service
Verisnap provides tools to capture, analyze, score, and verify images and related metadata to assess authenticity, context, and integrity. Outputs may include scores, classifications, or indicators derived from automated systems. Verisnap does not guarantee absolute authenticity, truthfulness, or accuracy of any image or output.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Providing accurate and up-to-date information
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. User Content
You retain ownership of images and other content you upload ("User Content"). By uploading User Content, you grant Verisnap a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to process, analyze, store, and display such content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. You represent that:
- You own or have the right to upload the content
- Your content does not violate any law or third-party rights
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful, deceptive, or fraudulent purposes
- Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Service
- Upload content that is illegal, abusive, or infringes rights
- Use the Service to misrepresent or falsely claim verification
6. No Professional or Legal Advice
Verisnap outputs are informational only and are not legal, financial, forensic, or law-enforcement determinations. Scores and results are probabilistic and contextual, and final decisions based on Verisnap outputs are your responsibility.
7. Intellectual Property
All Verisnap software, algorithms, designs, trademarks, and branding are owned by Verisnap or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without permission.
8. Service Availability
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable for downtime, data loss, or service changes.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or misuse the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Verisnap disclaims all warranties, including:
- Accuracy or reliability of results
- Fitness for a particular purpose
- Non-infringement
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Verisnap shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to Verisnap in the prior 12 months, or $100 if no payment was made.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Verisnap from claims arising out of your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
